1967 Volkswagen Kombi Split Screen Van

A fantastic looking Kombi at a reduced price – ready for you to cruise away into the sunset on your next holiday or as a fantastic promotional asset for your business!

As the first and most recognizable generation of kombi’s, the T1 otherwise known as the ‘splittie’ with it’s characteristic split window design and V shape front panel with the body painted in two different contrasting colours is the far most sort after model over the T2’s & T3’s. The T1 came in many different body styles from the basic panel van for commercial use to the highly sort after Samba 23 window bus. Engines ranged from the early 1100cc 25hp motor to the later 51hp 1500cc variant.

This eye catching 1967 Split window panel van has undergone a full bare metal repaint in stunning white and green, finished in 2016. During the restoration, all panels were media blasted with many panels replaced as needed. Photo’s can be supplied to prospective buyers.

The Kombi comes with a rebuilt 1600cc engine and running gear reconditioned with less than 1000km travelled. The interior features a striking L shaped lounge setting, contrasting to the body colour, perfect for casual outings with your mates or for corporate events accompanied with a multimedia unit in the front with speakers throughout the cabin. Note that this van is registered in QLD as a two-seater. Can be driven as is or finished off to your liking.

Comes with balance of QLD registration (if sold in QLD) and roadworthy certificate.

This attention-grabbing Kombi would make a fantastic promotional vehicle, coffee/food van or weekend camper. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to acquire a split window kombi as a fantastic price!
